Register for Eighth Street Wineries Open House in Sonoma, CA on Eventbrite

Eighth Street Wineries Open House
February 25th, 2012

Explore the cellars and tasting rooms of the lively industrial neighborhood where some of the finest small lots wines in Sonoma are made. This season’s open house is a fundraiser featuring 10 wineries, including our newest member, Patz & Hall. We’ll be pouring nearly 20 varietals and offering fine food pairings, too.

Are you an Eighth Street Wineries wine club member? If so, enjoy a special preview hour featuring special barrel tastings and small group time with winemakers. Also, be sure to inquire with your individual sponsoring winery for a special discount ticket!

In recognition of the impact that the wine industry has on the environment (washing barrels, tanks, floors, and more) we at Eighth Street Wineries have chosen to raise funds for a global water charity, http://www.water.org. Facts:

** It takes 710 liters of water to make one 750 ml bottle of wine.
** One in eight people in the world does not have access to clean drinking water.
** $25 will provide one person in a developing nation to access to clean water for the course of their entire life.

Tickets are $30 in advance/ $35 at door, and include all tastings and pairings, as well as a souvenir wine glass and the chance to win a half case of wine. 10% of all online sales will go to Water.org. Join us!
